Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit China soon, the Kremlin said on Thursday (May 14) local time, adding that preparations for the visit have already been completed.
Although the exact date of Putin's visit has not yet been announced, it is expected that the visit will include discussions on Russia-China relations and various international issues between the two countries.
Russian President Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping have developed a close relationship in recent years. The two leaders have met more than 40 times, most recently in Beijing in September last year.
The two countries signed a "boundless strategic partnership" agreement in February 2022, just weeks before Russia's military campaign in Ukraine began. Since then, analysts say relations between Moscow and Beijing have grown closer, despite Western pressure.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump is currently on a visit to China. As a result, the diplomatic activities of Washington, Moscow and Beijing at the same time have created new discussions in international politics.

World's best all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan recently spoke openly about Bangladesh's cricket and politics. The cricketer, who is currently in the United States with his family, recently gave an interview to 'Simply Said' and commented on his political position, uncertainty about returning to the country, the future of the cricket board and various personal issues.
He said, "At one time, I saw that everyone supported the Awami League, and now I see that no one supports the Awami League. It's a situation like this."
When asked where he would go first when he returns home in the future, Mirpur Stadium or his own district, Magura, he said, "Right now, the biggest concern is to set foot in Dhaka."
In an interview, he was asked, "Your former teammate, your friend Tamim Iqbal is the board president. Has he taken any new initiatives?" He said, "The board that comes after the elections will probably have a lot of time to think and make a decision."
Responding to criticism over his decision to enter politics, Shakib said, "I don't think I did anything wrong." When asked about the reason for participating in elections during his playing career, he said, "I was never Shakib Al Hasan in Magura. I was always Faisal in Magura."
Mahmudullah Riyad may be seen in a new role after retiring from international cricket. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is reportedly planning to add him as a mentor for the Under-19 team.
Mahmudullah Riyad is one of the biggest stars of Bangladeshi cricket. This experienced cricketer retired from international cricket in 2025. This star cricketer announced his retirement after the Champions Trophy. Earlier, Riyad retired from the short format of cricket, T20, in India in 2024. Even earlier, this all-rounder retired from this format after playing a Test against Zimbabwe in 2021.
Riyad has scored more than 11,000 runs in three formats in his long international career. He has also taken 176 wickets. He is now getting the opportunity to share his long experience with the national team with young cricketers.
As part of the BCB's current plan, retired cricketers from the national team are being added to the age-based teams for coaching and mentoring. In that vein, Mahmudullah may be offered an offer to work with the youth team until the 2028 Under-19 World Cup.
A BCB official said that the youth are being brought into the coaching structure because they can learn a lot from the former experienced cricketers of the national team.
He said the decision to appoint Abdur Razzak as HP's spin coach and Mahmudullah as the youth team's mentor is part of that thinking. Mahmudullah will be at the camp for a specific period of time during the youth team's camp and work with the cricketers.
Despite retiring from international cricket, he still plays regularly in domestic cricket. Mahmudullah last played for Rangpur Riders in the BPL. He is currently playing for Prime Bank Cricket Club in the Dhaka Premier League.
Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez is once again in legal trouble in the much-discussed Rs 200 crore money laundering case. Her attempt to get legal benefits by presenting herself as a government witness in this case did not succeed in the end. Instead, India's investigative agency Enforcement Directorate (ED) has claimed in the court that Jacqueline was not only a victim of fraud, but was directly involved in the activities of the main accused Sukesh Chandrasekhar.
According to Indian media reports, the actress had approached the court with an application to become a government witness in the case. However, on May 11, the ED strongly opposed that application. The agency said that many pieces of evidence had been found during the investigation which identified Jacqueline as an accused and not a witness. Understanding the situation, the actress later withdrew her application in the court of Special Judge Prashant Sharma.
The ED claims that Jacqueline maintained contact with Sukesh Chandrasekhar despite knowing about his criminal past. The investigation has revealed that the actress was given various gifts including luxury cars, expensive jewelry, designer bags and other things with the money obtained through fraud. Not only that, there are allegations that financial benefits were also extended to Jacqueline's family members.
The investigating agency told the court that it also has evidence of regular phone calls and messages between Jacqueline and Sukesh. Based on this information, the ED said that although the actress claimed to have been "unknowingly cheated", in reality she had knowingly taken these benefits.
According to the ED, Jacqueline indirectly became a part of the money laundering process by being wilfully indifferent to the source of the money and taking personal benefits from that money. Therefore, the agency believes that presenting herself as a victim is essentially an attempt to get legal protection.
Jacqueline Fernandez has been questioned by the ED several times before. Later, her name was included as an accused for the first time in the supplementary charge sheet filed by the investigating agency.
It is worth noting that Jacqueline Fernandez is currently in jail. Multiple cases are pending against her for allegedly defrauding influential people and stars and embezzling huge amounts of money.
Shefali Jariwala, known as the 'thorny' girl of Bollywood, was the subject of much speculation following her sudden death.
Some of the comments said that the heroine died due to an injection. Now her husband Parag Tyagi has opened up about that speculation. The actress died suddenly on June 27 last year. Her husband recently revealed the main reason for the pop star's death.
Since the death of Shefali Jariwala, there have been many speculations about how the actress died. Finally, Shefali's husband Parag Tyagi opened up. Then it was said that Shefali used to take injections all the time to maintain her age and increase the glow of her skin. That is why she died prematurely. Apart from this, she used to take several medicines to maintain her beauty and charm. However, her husband Parag Tyagi told a different story.
In a recent video message on social media, Shefali's husband Parag said, "I also want to know, which anti-aging injection is being talked about? Shefali has never taken any such injection. Instead, on the advice of the doctor, she has taken an IV drip of multivitamins, vitamin C, collagen and glutathione."
When asked about the fact that she used to take injections on an empty stomach, Parag said that even though Shefali was fasting on the day of her death, she did eat and drink afterwards. Therefore, the allegation that she took injections on an empty stomach is absolutely not true.
He further said that Shefali exercised every day to maintain her youth and good health. She lived a controlled life and took care of herself. Shefali ate all kinds of food.
Parag is really annoyed by such rumors about Shefali. He folded his hands and requested everyone not to spread such false information without verification.
Apart from 'Kanta Laga', Shefali has been seen in over 35 Hindi music videos. She made her Bollywood debut in 2004 with the film 'Mujhse Shaadi Karoge' amidst huge recognition.
