Fuel prices increase in India

Petrol and diesel prices in India have been increased by up to three rupees per liter as crude oil prices in the global market rise due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

The new prices went into effect on Friday (May 15).

It is known that in Delhi, the price of petrol per liter is now Rs 97.77 and diesel is Rs 90.67. In Kolkata, the price of petrol per liter is Rs 108.74 and diesel is Rs 95.25. The amount of this price increase in other cities of the country ranges from Rs 2.83 to Rs 3.29 per liter.

Meanwhile, the price of CNG in Delhi has increased by Rs 2 per kg and is being sold at Rs 79.9 per kg. And in the Mumbai metropolitan area, the price of this fuel is Rs 84 per kg. Earlier, a major change was made in the price of fuel in April 2022.
