Areas where there will be no electricity for 6 hours on Saturday

Several areas of Rajshahi will be without electricity for six hours on Saturday (May 16) due to tree branch cutting work to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the upcoming Eid al-Adha.

This information was given in a notification from the office of the Executive Engineer of Northern Electricity Supply PLC Rajshahi.

It said that several areas under the Bongram feeder in Rajshahi will be without electricity from 8 am to 2 pm on Saturday due to tree branch cutting near 33 KV and 11 KV lines to ensure uninterrupted power supply during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.

The areas are: Hazrapukur, Kaliapara, Mohanpur Hazampara and Madhya Budhpara areas under the Bongram feeder.

The concerned authorities have expressed their sincere apologies to the customers in the affected areas for this temporary inconvenience. Once the work is completed before the scheduled time, the power supply will be restored immediately.
